American Samoa is a U.S. territory located in the South Pacific Ocean. As of my last knowledge update in September 2021, American Samoa faced challenges in its digital health infrastructure due to its remote location and limited resources. However, efforts were being made to improve healthcare services through technology, including telemedicine initiatives and the implementation of electronic health records. Access to healthcare services in the remote islands was a concern, and the government was working on expanding healthcare facilities and improving healthcare delivery.
