🇬🇭 Ghana - Republic of Ghana - Population: 31,072,940 (2010 census). The digital health situation in Ghana has been steadily progressing in recent years. The government has implemented various initiatives to improve healthcare delivery through technology, such as the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) and the use of electronic health records (EHRs). Mobile health (mHealth) solutions have also been utilized to enhance access to healthcare services, especially in rural areas. Ghana has made significant strides in telemedicine, e-learning platforms, and the adoption of digital tools for disease surveillance and health information management. Efforts are being made to address challenges related to infrastructure, interoperability, and data privacy, with ongoing partnerships and collaborations to strengthen the digital health ecosystem.
