🇲🇷 Mauritania, officially known as the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, is a country located in Northwest Africa. It has a population of around 4.5 million people as of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021. Unfortunately, I don't have the exact census date. In terms of the digital health situation, Mauritania has been working towards improving its healthcare system through various initiatives. Efforts have been made to enhance telemedicine services, improve health information systems, and leverage technology for better healthcare delivery. The country faces challenges in terms of access to healthcare services, particularly in remote areas. However, steps have been taken to expand digital health infrastructure and improve healthcare outcomes.
